Listen, you can say whatever you want, but you can’t deny the fact that PSY’s song “Gangnam Style” has become a hit. Its catchy dance grooves and ridiculous music video, complete with horse dancing and yearning for a workout girl’s buttocks (not in the same shot), have attracted over 600 million views on YouTube in the past few months – and the fever continues to grow.
Now the dance sensation is coming to both Ubisoft’s Just Dance 4 and Harmonix’s Dance Central 3.
Ubisoft has confirmed that “Gangnam Style” will release tomorrow for Just Dance 4, though no pricing has been announced. We’re guessing it’ll be three bucks (240 Microsoft points). The company has stated that the song will include moves from the video, along with other Just Dance 4 moves.
Harmonix has announced that “Gangnam Style” will come to Dance Central 3 next Tuesday, the 27th, for 240 Microsoft points ($3). On top of that, a pair of Usher songs will also be released that day, including “Twisted” (featuring Pharrell) and “Euphoria”. No word if the Harmonix version will have the horse dance, but we’re guessing it will.
Meanwhile, if you need even more PSY (like some of the folks at our office), check out this video where he teamed up with M.C. Hammer last night at the American Music Awards. WARNING: Lame celebrity dancing included.
