Microsoft has officially revealed their free-to-play game Forza Street is available now on PC and is coming soon to both Android and iOS devices. Though not a full-fledged Forza release that many were hoping for, taking the Forza franchise on-the-go has its appeal as well as Xbox achievements and a single-player objective.

According to Microsoft’s official description for the game, “Enter the ultimate street racing scene to win the car collection of your dreams. Pick an event, set your lineup, and race for infamy.”

Here’s what else players can expect:

COLLECT AND UPGRADE ICONIC CARS

  • Race to collect legendary cars — from classic muscle to modern sports and retro supercars — turning your garage into a trophy case.

TRUE CINEMATIC RACING

  • Streamlined controls focus on timing for gas, brake, and boost as action-cams chase the adrenaline up close.

RACE ON YOUR TERMS

  • Race anytime, anywhere. Squeeze in a quick one-minute race or get immersed in an endless story with multiple paths to victory.

The newest game was first leaked back in March and was originally intended to be a simple mobile experience meant to take the Xbox brand and expand it into a different market. The rebranding of Miami Street is an interesting move on Microsoft’s part, and perhaps the extension into Android and iOS devices will offer the dev team a moment to polish up an experience that could use some tinkering.

So far, a release date hasn’t been given for mobile devices other than “coming soon.”
