Fortnite Festival Season 4 Brings Metallica to the Battle Stage

Exit Light!

Fortnite has constantly been hinting on its main X (Twitter) account who will be the next artist featured in Fortnite Festival Season 4. Now, it is official: Metallica’s whole band, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammet, and Robert Trujillo, will headline Fortnite Festival Season 4. They’ll take center stage, or should I say, the Battle Stage, from June 13, 2024, to August 16, 2024.

Fortnite Festival Season 4 Everything We Know

During the event, players can play on the new 16-player battle stage where players will battle other players across a four-song setlist to be the last one standing on the stage. Everyone will compete to get the highest score with a randomized song choice in Fortnite Festival Season 4’s featured songs rotation.

Everyone will play the same track, but you have the choice of which song part and difficulty to play with. In the end, the four players with the lowest scores will be eliminated until there’s one winner.

The battle adds new features to the Fortnite Festival game mode. Players can now launch attacks to disrupt the opponents’ flow, lower their score, or break a note streak. The attacks are based on the game’s Overdrive mechanic where the longer Overdrive you have, the longer your attack.

What Metallica Songs Are Coming in Fortnite Festival Season 4?

Fortnite brings several iconic songs from Metallica. Here’s the Metallica setlist for Season 4:

  • Enter Sandman
  • Master of Puppets
  • Ride the Lightning
  • Fuel
  • The Unforgiven
  • Wherever I May Roam

The songs will be in the shop until Season 4 ends. They also hinted that more Metallica tracks might be coming soon. Since Rock Band had a few Metallica songs like Battery, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see more songs come out during season 4.

Fortnite Season 4 Festival Pass

The Festival Pass brings a bunch of new festival quests along with a whole collection of Metallica rewards. You’ll get three free Jam Tracks: Epic Games – S.O.M.P, The Night Porter (Winnage), and Dreamer. You can get a cool Dark Flame Aura, or a new Roundhouse emote for free to ignite the crowd.

The premium track on the Season 4 Festival Pass includes outfits from all members of Metallica: Lars Ulrich, Robert Trujillo, Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield. Some cool premium rewards also include Lars’s TAMA kit, Kirk’s Gibson Les Paul Guitar, and the One Jam track. There’s also some Puppet Master-themed outfit for each of the Metallica members.

The Premium Reward Track can be bought for 1,800 V-Bucks. If you are planning on buying this one, you can also check out Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass while there is still time.
