The Stardew Valley Cup was announced today by developer ConcernedApe. According to ConcernedApe’s tweet, the Stardew Valley Cup will begin on September 4 and will feature a $40,000 prize pool.
“In collaboration with UnsurpassableZ, I’m pleased to announce the 1st official Stardew Valley Cup!” ConcernedApe said. “It’s a competition of skill, knowledge, and teamwork, with a prize pool of over $40k. See some of Stardew’s most dedicated players in their element! Main event is Sept. 4th at 9am PST.”
In addition to that information, a brief teaser trailer was included that adds a few extra pieces of information. For example, the fact that participants will compete in teams. Competition will include the completion of challenges in order to earn points.
