Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light arrives for the first time fully localized in the United States on December 4. This comes from a surprise tweet from the Nintendo of America Twitter account.

The original 8-bit that features Prince Marth’s heroic journey will now be available for everyone to experience. Even with Fire Emblem’s growing popularity in the west, it’s still surprising to receive a much older game in the series fully localized.
Most fans in America only know Marth from his appearances in the Super Smash Brothers franchise.
Here’s a description of the game from the press release if you aren’t sure what to expect from this Fire emblem game.
“Throughout Marth’s perilous journey, players can shape their armies to execute a range of strategies by carefully selecting from dozens of characters with unique attributes that can turn the tide of every battlefield skirmish. Will Marth be able to acquire the sacred Falchion sword on his epic expedition to restore peace to the Kingdom of Archanea? Lead a band of loyal followers on a continent-spanning quest for glory and victory, and reclaim the throne from the Shadow Dragon Medeus!”
