Fancy Pattern Vivillon Unlocked After Players Trade 100 Million Pokemon

We hope you’ve done your part trading Pokemon in Nintendo’s hit 3DS games, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.  Thus far, gamers have traded 90 million battle monsters, and The Pokemon Company has something special in store for its fans. When the community trades 100 million Pokemon through the Global Trade Station (GTS), the developer will release a special Fancy Pattern Vivillon free-of-charge.

Typically, the colors and patterns on Vivillon’s wings change depending on where a person lives, which means the only way to collect the different types is through trading with others. With this Fancy Pattern Vivillon, you’ll be able to get it from anywhere in the world.

First, however, the community needs to reach the 100 million trades milestone. Once that happens, The Pokemon Company will tell players how to get Fancy Pattern Vivillon on the official Pokemon website.
