When it comes to the Steam service, Valve goes all out to make sure the community gets its chance to shine. And with its latest update to the Left 4 Dead 2 servers, it continues to hold its promise.
A fan-made map, one that takes place in the Lord of the Rings locale Helm’s Deep, has been added to Valve’s officially supported map list for the popular zombie shooter. Up to four players can take part in the shooting madness, without having to worry about Orcs. (There are plenty of undead, though, so grab your guns.)
In addition, Valve has updated the game to address some consistency issues while playing on dedicated servers. So you should have a smoother time the next time you’re trying out one of the multiplayer maps.
Now, if we can just get Helm’s Deep to make a stop on Xbox 360 through DLC…
Left 4 Dead 2 is available now for Xbox 360, PC and Steam.
