The cryptic reveals over the past week by Bethesda have led to something big – Shinji Mikami is all about getting Evil again.
The director of the classic Resident Evil franchise has made a return in a big way, teaming up with his crew at Tango Gameworks for a new game that was officially revealed this morning. The Evil Within introduces a whole new level of survival horror, with unspeakable creatures and plenty of action to go around.
“We’re incredibly proud to announce The Evil Within,” said Mikami. “My team and I are committed to creating an exciting new franchise, providing fans the perfect blend of horror and action.”
The game is currently slated for a 2014 release for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and it’s also being planned for next-generation consoles as well. You can watch the first teaser trailer here…but make sure you have the lights on first.
Look for more information on The Evil Within in the months ahead. It’s definitely looking like another winner for Bethesda. Is E3 here yet?
