This announcement was made recently on the Evil Dead: The Game X (formerly Twitter) account. It states that the game’s servers will continue to remain up and that, despite the lack of content updates, the team will continue to address any further issues that arise.

Evil Dead: The Game was one of the runner-up games for Best Horror Game in the 2023 edition of the Horror Game Awards. The game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game in which players can take control of the Army of Darkness or face it off as Ash Williams and other iconic characters from the franchise. Unfortunately, the game lacked enough support from its player base to continue receiving support.

Evil Dead: The Game is currently available on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC.
