Eula is the newest character addition in Genshin Impact, the free-to-play open-world action RPG from miHoYo. We first saw her pop up last week in the character teaser trailer called Eula: Midnight at the Tavern.
As captivated as we were by that first character teaser trailer, we’re even more mesmerized by Eula’s latest trailer called Eula: Surging Frost.
Eula Gets a Beautiful New Genshin Impact Trailer
In the Surging Frost trailer for Genshin Impact’s newest character Eula, we see Eula in action, facing off against foes with ice cold precision. When Eula uses her Normal Attack, Favonius Bladework: Edel, there’s an opportunity for her to combo up to 5 strikes, dealing Physical DMG to opponents.
Eula’s Elemental Skill, Icetide Vortex, comes as a rapid slash that deals out Cryo DMG. Every time a slash hits an opponent, Eula will gain one stack of Grimheart (max 2 stacks). As for why you’d want to stack Grimheart with Eula, Grimheart helps increase her interruption resistance and DEF, which can prove to be quite useful.
If you hold Eula’s Icetide Vortex, Eula will use up all of her Grimheart stacks and deal AoE Cryo DMG. If that’s not enough, Eula also has the Elemental Burst, Glacial Illumination. Similar to Icetide Vortex, Glacial Illumination allows Eula to deal Cryo DMG.
It also forms a Lightfall Sword which increases her resistance to interruption even further. You can charge this Lightfall Sword when Eula deals damage using a Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst. Even when the Lightfall Sword’s duration ends, it has one last opportunity to deal Physical DMG to nearby foes when it explodes.
To sum all of that up, enemies better watch out for Eula’s sword when it starts swinging. You can see all of this in action in the Surging Frost trailer, which we’ve embedded at the bottom of this article.
One of the biggest items of note in the trailer is Eula’s Exploration Talent, Aristocratic Introspection.
It’s noted that when Eula crafts Talent Level-Up Materials there’s a chance for her to double the output. While Eula is talented in battle, this Exploration Talent will undoubtedly come in handy.
