Nintendo updated its digital eShop for both the Wii U and 3DS this week with a number of classic and new releases that are bound to get your attention.

There's only one new offering on the Wii U, and it's the NES/arcade game Donkey Kong 3. Rather than following in the footsteps of the first two games, the third one takes a rather unique twist, having an exterminator battle the big ape and his army of bees.

Meanwhile, over on the 3DS, you've got several games to choose from. Atlus' Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is a thrilling role-playing adventure. It's definitely the highlight of the week, and releases October 1st.

If that's not enough, you can also delve into XSEED's Rune Factory 4, a classic adventure game where you form relationships and battle monsters. It arrives on the 1st as well.

Other 3DS games include Carps & Dragons, a remake of the WiiWare title Fish 'Em All; Family Table Tennis 3D, which features plenty of ping pong action; Mystery Murders: The Sleeping Palace, a spooky puzzle-solving game from Microvalue; Let's Ride: Best In Breed 3D, a horse racing simulation; and Paws & Claws: Pampered Pets Resort 3D, where you can care for animals in a friendly setting.
