There’s no question that Electronic Arts has run into a number of service problems since it launched SimCity earlier this month – mainly with its online servers. But it’s ready to address them by giving those who purchased the game a freebie for their troubles.
Starting on March 20th, those who purchased SimCity will be able to get one of eight free games from EA for the trouble. You’ll be able to access the games list from 5 PM PDT on the 20th, running all the way through 11:59 PM PDT on March 30th.
These games include Battlefield 3, Bejeweled 3, Dead Space 3, Mass Effect 3, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Plants vs. Zombies and SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition. The game will be free of charge once you log in with your registered copy of SimCity.
We’re not sure who’d take Plants vs. Zombies over a title like Dead Space 3 or Most Wanted, but, hey, to each their own. Enjoy your free game!
