With a Battlefield 3 Premium service rumored to be unveiled next week, Electronic Arts is making a hardcore push for its first person shooter by giving it as much content as possible. The first of five announced downloadable content packs, Close Quarters, is scheduled to arrive sometime in June, and today, the company gave us details on the second pack, which is known as Armored Kill.
In Armored Kill, you’ll be able to engage in “all-out vehicle warfare on huge maps,” which is likely to mean battles with tanks and possibly even jets. And being able to shoot your friends out of the sky…well, that’s a good thing, right?
EA is likely to have some of this content on the show floor next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, so we’ll be sure to give it a full look and provide you with a full report. In the meantime, you might want to work on your multiplayer skills…
