Electronic Arts has certainly been keeping busy.  Along with unveiling four new sports games for the Xbox One yesterday in Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, UFC and NBA Live 14, the company has now confirmed that it's planning to make a few announcements at E3.

The first thing on the agenda is Need For Speed.  Over on the franchise's official Facebook account, a mysterious new image has emerged, featuring a battered but bad-ass sports car sitting on the road, along with the mysterious tagline "Have no rules, show no mercy."  Though an official title wasn't unveiled, it's looking like this could be a rough-and-tumble sort of Need For Speed game where aggressive driving could pay off just as much as speed.  We'll know more soon.

In addition, EA labels president Frank Gibeau explained on EA's The Beat blog that the company's plans for Star Wars would be unveiled for E3 as well.  It recently signed a blockbuster deal with Disney to produce the next batch of games based on George Lucas' sci-fi franchise, and developers like Visceral, BioWare and DICE are already working on projects.

We'll have full coverage of EA has planned in just a few weeks' time…
