It seems that EA Sports’ hockey games get better every year, proven by last year’s stellar Stanley Cup champion NHL 13 even while the league was temporarily on hold with a lock out. Soon we will find out what this year’s take will bring.
EA Sports’ official NHL twitter page has posted a teaser image indicating that NHL 14 will be unveiled on April 15th. Though nothing else was revealed outside of that (aside from the 26 awards that the franchise has won over the years), we expect the announcement will bring about new details like possible changes to online leagues, gameplay and more.
We’ll have full details for you here once the announcement is made along with a possible release date (which is likely to be early September again, right before the next NHL season starts).
