Even without EA and Activision in tow, this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo did just fine for the ESA and company.
The team has announced that this year’s E3 saw more than 70,300 attendees involved in events over the course of the week, including over 50,000 professionals and 20,000 fans. There were also over 250 exhibitors with over 1,600 products.
With that, E3 will return next year with dates already set for the show – June 13-15, 2017. It will also take place in the L.A. Convention Center, with even more companies expected to attend.
The show also drew big numbers in social media, with over seven million posts on Twitter, 500,000 likes on E3-related posts on Instagram, and over 42 million viewers checking out content on Twitch.
Congrats for another great show this year – but next year is likely to be even better.
