According to Steam, Dying light 2 had a peak player count of almost 275,000 players. This puts it at the number 23 spot of highest peak concurrent players of all time. To put that into perspective a little, Dying Light 2 now stands with games like The Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Halo Infinite, and Destiny 2.

These are huge numbers just for the Steam release alone, Dying light 2 was also released on next and last-gen consoles and has a Nintendo Switch Cloud Version on the way.  Of course, as time goes on and more of the stacked February lineup of games release, these player numbers will dwindle as they always do.

However, for a launch weekend that is massive. I have a feeling we will be talking about this again in a couple of weeks when From Software’s Elden Ring launches.

Techland also announced more patch notes for updates coming this week and beyond. Major ones include DLSS improvements, various game bugs, backup saves, and more. You can see the full list of changes here
