Those who pre-order Dungeon Siege III on Valve’s web shop Steam will receive the first two games in the series for no cost, Square Enix has revealed.
It’ll be possible to download Dungeon Siege 1 and Dungeon Siege 2 as soon as customers have pre-ordered the upcoming third game in the series.
“Providing Dungeon Siege I and Dungeon Siege II free of charge through Steamworks is Square Enix’s way of showing appreciation to the fans of the Dungeon Siege franchise,” David Hoffman, exec producer explained.
It’s also been announced that the PC edition of the game will have Steamworks Integration in full, which means there’s auto-updating, Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud built-in.
Obsidian’s latest role-player sequel will be coming to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on 17th June.
