It may be time to draw to your own conclusions again, if American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has anything to say about it.
Seacrest tweeted this morning that Zynga was hard at work on another Draw Something game, stating, “I somehow convinced them to give me #drawsomething2 first,” and also sketched a picture of Randy Jackson and Mariah Carey in the process (image above).
So why the celebrity tie-in? Along with the popularity of the original game, Zynga actually squared away a deal with Seacrest Productions, Embassy Row and Sony Pictures Television on a pilot television show based on the popular drawing game.
Dan Porter, general manager of Zynga New York, stated that Draw Something 2 was “coming soon” and would allow players to draw and connect in new ways.
We’ll have more information on the release as it comes down, but we really need to work on our drawing of popular artists. Our Nickelback rendering looks like a gathering at clown college. (Or is that far off? Zing!)
