When Double Fine, headed up by Tim Schafer, released the Kinect friendly Happy Action Theater last year, it created one of the most monumental experiences for Microsoft’s motion device, putting players into enjoyable situations galore.  But it looks like that was just the start of the Kinect Party…
The sequel, which is actually titled Kinect Party (coincidence, right?) is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace. Â Once again, Schafer and his team at Double Fine have worked their magic, creating a number of mini game-based scenarios where users can inject themselves into remarkable situations, whether it’s flying through a hyperspace tunnel or taking part in a dance party.
Here’s an even bigger shock – the game is free of charge.  Kinect Party is officially available for free to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers from now until the end of the year.  No word yet on what the price will be once 2013 drops in, but we’re guessing around 400 Microsoft points ($5) – which still isn’t bad, but, hey, free is better.
You can download the game at the following link. Â Enjoy!
