The Division 2 Has An Awesome Spider-Man PS4 Easter Egg

The Division 2 and Marvel's Spider-Man Collide with a newly found Easter egg.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Ubisoft is known for their sneaky Easter eggs in-game representing their various franchises, but sometimes they include nods to other studios as well. Given the incredible feedback that Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man title saw for the PlayStation 4, it’s not too surprising that the game saw fans in The Division 2 team. That Spidey love has crossed universes, because a neat little Easter egg has been uncovered in Ubisoft’s latest looter shooter that pays homage to our favorited web-slinging hero.

For those that haven’t played Marvel’s Spider-Man, the game is littered with various collectibles and backpacks for players to find throughout the city, housing items and gear that Peter Parker needs. Sometimes they’re webbed to the side of a skyscrapper, sometimes their hidden behind a dumpster, but one thing is for sure – they are everywhere. Looks like they’re even in Washington DC over in the world of The Division 2.

The Easter egg can be seen in the video above shared by the Marvel’s Spider-Man studio’s official Twitter account captioned, “Thanks for finding this one, Ubisoft, we’d been looking everywhere.” A fun find to be sure, but it does make us wonder what other comicbook Easter eggs can be found in The Division’s massively open world?

As for the game itself, backpacks and all, The Division 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. For even more Division news, you can check out our Game Hub here, including why the studio felt it was necessary to delay the upcoming raid.
