The Division 2 Is Adding a 100-Story Skyscraper Mode

Think raids but then make it FREAKING HUGE.

Ubisoft’s The Division 2 has been a wild ride since launch, but players have been asking for more variety when it comes to endgame content. Ask and ye shall receive, because Ubisoft is adding a new PvE mode that is a free-for-all experience that centers around a 100-story skyscraper.

The new mode is called Summit and will task players with needing to clear out the building one story at a time. Of course, it’s not free real-estate; there will be waves of enemies on each level while also taking on various objectives to ensure a job well done.

According to the studio, each floor will have its own factions and objectives to uncover, which is meant to be a mechanic that keeps the mode going at a fast and unpredictable pace. Shoot, loot, and thrive is the name of this mode, which is perfect for those that were craving more action and a bigger challenge at the end of the day.

But this wouldn’t be a new instance without new bosses: every 10 floors will see a boss. Defeat each boss to continue up the skyscraper until the top is reached. Once you reach level 80, that’s when the real challenge starts as well. From 81 onwards, each floor then becomes Legendary in terms of the challenges faced. Clear those smaller floors first to rank up and you also might want to tag in a few friends. Sure, you could probably solo it, but you probably wouldn’t want to.

The new Summit PvE mode hits test servers on September 4th. Be prepared and … uh, yeah, good luck!
