There are plenty of great apps on the Xbox Live Marketplace, including Netflix, Flixster, ESPN and a number of others. Now Disney joined the party.
Microsoft announced that the popular company has launched an official app for the Marketplace, allowing users to check out a bunch of content. This includes various animated shorts from yesteryear, along with clips from Disney shows and the latest Disney movie trailers, including Monsters University and the forthcoming Lone Ranger.
“The Disney app for Xbox 360 furthers Disney Interactive’s goal to bring quality Disney videos and experiences across all platforms and devices,” said Disney Interactive’s Scott Slesinger.
Xbox Live Gold is required to obtain the app, but you’ll score a number of programs and exclusive shows, including one devoted to Mickey’s entry in the popular Where’s My Water? mobile game series.
