New Dead By Daylight Skins Let You Celebrate Christmas With Killer Style

So excited to get mori'd by this crime against fashion

No one expects a game in which an Eldritch abomination traps you in a hellscape so it can feed on your hope to be particularly jolly. And yet, here we are. Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical horror game that is as eternal as the Entity that controls the game, persisting even in the face of countless other horror releases. One of the reasons why Dead by Daylight refuses to die might be how ridiculous tongue-in-cheek it can get.

Who can forget the cursed (and yet surprisingly high quality) dating sim that Behavior put out that allowed you to date its killers? Or the ridiculous skins that are constantly being released. You can be a bargain bin Princess Heart (a reference to Silent Hill 3’s secret skin) or Dwelf. Just… Dwight, dressed as a Christmas elf.

Dead by Daylight Releases Its Newest Skin Collection: Deck the Trials

Dead by Daylight has released its latest Christmas collection today: The Deck the Trials Collection. And it’s clear that the developers decided that this is the season to sleigh slay with these five skins. Four of the skins are dedicated to female survivors: Mikaela Reid, Kate Denson, Meg Thomas, and Yun-Jin Lee.

I’m sure no one’s surprised to see Mikaela and Kate get more love, but I’m personally thrilled that Yun-Jin finally has a skin worth purchasing.

And the one killer who will receive a skin is The Trickster. And damn, what a skin. This is the skin that was leaked, that’s been teased, that’s received an endless barrage of fan art. And it truly is saccharine sweet and over the top. But for The Trickster? It works.

Each of these skins costs 1,100 Auric Cells (approximately $10 USD), and for a limited time. Usually, the price is 10% more, which would force you to buy more Auric Cells than you need. A move only the Entity could conceive. So if you want to snag one of these skins, now might be the time to do it.
