The world of Let It Die has always been zany and over the top, but Deathverse takes it another step further by wrapping up everything in a survival TV reality show Death Jamboree.

The trailer, which can be seen below is filled with bizarre characters, cobbled together weapons, insane abilities, and a large man with gold teeth.

We’re not really sure what to make of the game, but it certainly has our attention for the time being. The weapons, which were variations of knives, hammers, and katana blades can all be upgraded to perform strange and mind-bending attacks against your enemies.

There are more details about how all of that works over on the PlayStation Blog. The Blog also has more details on all of the characters you saw in the trailer, like Hunter G, who is an invincible predator that appears to chase down fighters.

Deathverse is set to release in 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We don’t have any more information on a release date, but it sounds like we won’t have to wait long before we hear more about this project.
