Death Rally, the recently rehashed classic top-down racer, is coming to PC on August 3rd, developer Remedy has revealed.
The title has been built from the ground up with a new rendering engine, camera and optimized controls. The new edition also packs a punch with a host of new features, including an additional track by the name of Savo and a reboot of Shadow Man from the 1996 original.
“Our PC fans have been clamoring for Death Rally and it’s time we finally bring it there,” said Remedy boss Matias Myllyrinne.
“It’s been fantastic getting the game back to PC with the help of our development partners, Mountain Sheep and Cornfox & Bros.; Death Rally has come full circle now.”
Death Rally has been downloaded more than 11 million times on smartphones, not too shabby I’d say. The PC edition will be sold on Steam for $9.99.
