Deadly Premonition is easily one of the weirdest games on the market. The story, which has you investigating a bizarre murder in a small town, started its success on the Xbox 360 before moving to the PlayStation 3 earlier this year with a much-improved director’s cut. This morning, we learned it’s headed to another platform.
The title, developed by Access Games and led by producer “Swery”, has made its way to the Steam Greenlight service, shortly following publisher Rising Star Games’ promise to deliver an “enhanced” version of the Director’s Cut if fans vote for it. It’ll include the gameplay improvements and graphic upgrades similar to the PS3 version, along with exclusive downloadable content. A trailer has been released to give you an idea what to expect.
“Rising Star Games is an extremely community-driven publisher and our vocal fans have been calling for a PC version of this game,” said Rising Star Games COO Martin Defries, “So using Steam Greenlight gives those fans the chance to make a difference.”
We’ll let you know when the game officially releases on the service.
