Dead Island: Riptide Coming April 23 2013

The game has been confirmed as a PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release, no word on the Wii U right now.

Pre-orderers will gain themselves an exclusive weapon pack while a Special Edition available from certain retailers boasts a unique cove and unlocks a character skin you won’t find anywhere else.

The game will feature the four characters playable in the first title once again finding themselves amongst a bunch of unfriendly brain-eating types (they are rascals). There’s a brand new weather system and the ability to import saves from your previous game included. That’s all we know so far, we’ll keep you in the loop.
