Days Gone Will Drop Free DLC In June

by Liana Ruppert

Days Gone officially makes its PlayStation 4 debut later this week but already the studio is detailing future content plans that players will be able to enjoy, including free DLC coming this June!

The first of the content line-up will make its way during the month of DLC and will be completely free while offering players more to do in the massive open world. In addition to the new content, June will also bring with it a new Survival mode that aims to up the difficulty of the game exponentionally.

New weekly challenges will also be rolling out in the coming months, including new Horde tasks and more to do with the protagonist’s bike. More will be added as well, though Sony was tight-lipped about what the specifics will be until after launch.

According to a recent blog post over on PlayStation, “Each week beginning in June, a new Bike, Horde, or Combat challenge will be deployed to test players even further. These challenges take key gameplay features of Days Gone, and twists them in unique ways to earn additional items and rewards. We’ll give you more information on the specific challenges down the road.

Beating the Survival Difficulty and challenges won’t be in vain — players can earn new trophies and unique bike skins to show off in photo mode to prove they’re bonafide Days Gone survivors.”

Days Gone will officially be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 players on April 26th. Are you ready for a brand new zombie adventure? Hit us up over on Twitter @PrimaGames! Also keep it tuned in here because we’ll be having guides, tips, and other treats regarding the PS4 title here soon.
