THQ has announced that it has released the latest downloadable content for its action/adventure game Darksiders II for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network.  Titled The Demon Lord Belial, the new content features a whole new dungeon to explore, as you seek out the nasty Demon Lord, who is anything but a pushover.

The DLC is available for $9.99 (800 Microsoft points), but if you already subscribe to the Season Pass, you can download it free of charge.  It’s also coming out for PC, and European gamers will be able to snag it a couple of days later, on the 6th.  No word on whether or not it’ll be coming to the Wii U, but we don’t see why it wouldn’t be.

Darksiders II is available now.  If you’re a fan of grim action games or just want a fantastic effort to get you through the holidays, this is definitely the way to go.
