Crysis Remastered Delayed After Recent Trailer Leak

It looks like Crysis Remastered needs a little more time to cook.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Towards the end of June, a new Crysis Remastered and screenshots leaked ahead of time and the response from fans was less than thrilled. Due to internal concerns and based on feedback, Crysis Remastered has been delayed with a new statement from the studio.

The delay won’t be long, only a “few weeks” according to a recent statement. “Your passion for the Crysis franchise deserves an undeniably high-quality game, and we are committed to delivering just that,” the statement below reads. “To ensure that we meet that commitment, we will need to delay the launch date (all platforms) and trailer premiere by a few weeks. Because they already started, pre-orders for Switch will stay open, but pre-orders for all other platforms will be delayed as well.”

The responding comments immediately reflected the negative reception the leak received, which makes the delay a good decision to tidy things up a bit:

With the delay only being a few weeks, that’s not terrible, but hopefully, that’s enough time for the team to do what they need to do without putting too much crunch pressure on them. Gamers would rather a delay than a bad launch, so take the time needed and remember to stay hydrated!
