Crash Bandicoot 4 launches in just a few weeks, but a new demo has launched today! If you pre-order Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, you’ll be given access to a demo including three levels and two different playable characters.
There is some more information about what players can expect from the three levels included in the demo on the Activision blog.
Snow Way Out
“Set in the 11th Dimension circa 1954, Snow Way Out is where Crash uses the Time Mask – Kupuna-Wa – to slow down ice blocks and temporary platforms for safe passage.”
Dino Dash
“The other “traditional” Crash level included in this demo will bring in a nostalgia-filled chase sequence alongside traditional platforming.”
Snow Way Out (Cortex Timeline)
“The final hands-on experience is Snow Way Out. However, this timeline features Neo Cortex as the playable character!”
There sure is a lot of Wumpa to sink your teeth into. All you have to do to gain access to the demo is pre-order a digital version through either the Xbox or PlayStation stores. This will allow you to download the demo right now!
So if you just cant wait to get your hands on the game, now’s the perfect time to get a little taste and hold you over until the full game releases on October 2.

If you’re not quite sure if you’re ready to pre-order the game and commit, you can read our preview of Crash 4: It’s About Time right here.
In the full game, you’ll be able to play as Crash, Coco, Neo Cortex, Dingo Dile, and even Tawna. While the demo only gives you access to Crash and Neo Cortex, that’s just a small sliver of what’s to come when the full game releases in just a few weeks.
Pre-ordering not only gives you access to the demo but also grants you with the Totally Tubular skin pack that gives Crash and Coco some new digs. If you’ve ever said to yourself “Crash should wear more 90’s styled crop tops,” than this is the pack for you.
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy – Key Locations in Crash Bandicoot
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy – A Hidden Gem Trophy
- Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy – All Color Gems
As far as pre-order incentives go for a game, these are some of the better ones I’ve seen, so if you already have your heart set on getting this game, you’ll get some lovely goodies for going digital.
As always, let us know if you’ll be hopping into the demo today on the Prima Twitter and Facebook.
