The Guitar Hero franchise may be buried at the moment, but that isn’t stopping its co-creator from taking the stage again.
Charles Huang, who helped put together Activision’s multi-million selling franchise, is working with a new team on a company called Green Throttle Games. Their mission is to turn smart phone games into big-screen game experiences, as you’ll be able to connect your mobile devices to HDTV’s, across the board for wireless and Bluetooth controllers through the Green Throttle Arena app.
The team also consists of former Palm Pre lead Matt Crowley and previous Palm Pilot electrical engineer Karl Townsend among others. Their goal, similar to OUYA’s, is to take console gaming to the next level through an alternative means, rather than relying on a game console.
