Although Capcom isn’t working on a new Street Fighter game for the Wii U, it certainly won’t leave its fans hanging. The company announced that it will bring three SNES Street Fighter games to the Wii U’s Virtual Console service later this week.
Leading the pack is the original that started it all, Street Fighter II, followed by Street Fighter II Turbo and Super Street Fighter II. The games will cost $7.99 apiece, though Capcom is offering a discount of 50 percent if more than one game is purchased in a transaction. Those who previously bought the games on the original Wii can get these titles for $1.50 apiece.
Finally, the games will come with Miiverse support, though Capcom didn’t explain this in detail yet.
Look for the games this Thursday.
