Call of Juarez Returns Once More With the Gunslinger

Forget The Cartel, let's head back to the Wild West.

We believe that Ubisoft and the developers at Techland have learned their lesson from their last Call of Juarez: The Cartel release, as the next game in the series returns back to the Wild West.  Whew.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger is slated to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC in early 2013.  In this game, you’ll once again wander the dusty cities, similar to what you did in Bound In Blood, using your six-shooter on every occasion to take down varmints and criminals.  The game tracks your progress and measures it to other outlaws within the game, while also introducing a number of new skull upgrades to make you even more of a rootin’-tootin’ cowboy, such as better reload times, headshots in mid-air and using bullet time (slow-motion) to your advantage.

We’ll have a preview of Gunslinger soon.  We’re just happy that we’ll be dealing with cowboys again instead of whiny officers.  Thank goodness.  Check out the teaser trailer below.
