After a pretty hefty leak earlier this month, the new Call of Duty has officially been revealed and it’s the perfect entry for fans of the Modern Warfare series. Simply called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the next game in the franchise will offer what fans loved of its predecessors while acting as a sort of “reset” for the series as a whole. The best part of the big story reveal is the return of the iconic Captain Price as well as classic weapons that players have fallen in love with in the past. This soft reboot seems to be a huge hit with fans, with most of the reactions on social being overwhelmingly positive, which bodes well for the team’s redirection when it comes to what made gamers so attached to Call of Duty in the first place.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 25th.
