Oh come on, with everything that’s surrounding the Wii U, did you really think Activision would miss out on the party?
Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg came out today to discuss their slate of games coming to the Wii U during its launch period, including Skylanders Giants, Wipeout 3, Transformers Prime and 007 Legends. The biggest game of the line-up was obviously Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which comes with a few Wii U specific features.
Two players can do local play at once, with one on the TV screen and another using the GamePad. Additionally, you can also play directly on the GamePad if you want to free up the TV for all the other useless junk going on. Call of Duty: Black Ops II will still come with the full single player campaign along with Overwatch and the online-supported multiplayer through Nintendo Network.
Though it wasn’t confirmed for a day one release with the Wii U, Hirshberg did state that it was coming in November so we won’t have to wait long. Look for a preview soon!
