Activision is pulling out all the stops when it comes to its upcoming sequel Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Treyarch, the development team behind the game, has produced a great new trailer that introduces the villain at the heart of the machine invasion in 2025, a nasty piece of work named Raul Menendez. He is able to seize American technology and turn it against the country, working it to his advantage. And for some reason, he has tie-ins to Frank Woods, as he pays him a visit in the trailer, which you can see below.
That’s just one part of the news Activision had about the game today. It’s officially unveiled a few facts about it. David S. Goyer, the co-writer of such movies as Blade and The Dark Knight Rises, is contributing heavily to the game’s story. What’s more, a superstar composing team has also been announced.
Trent Reznor, the front man for the band Nine Inch Nails and composer of such films as The Social Network and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, is contributing to the music score, alongside Jack Wall, who previously put together tunes for Mass Effect.
Check out the trailer and get ready for combat on November 13!
