Cal Kestis’ Lightsaber Coming to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

Announced on the Star Wars official blog today, you’ll be able to add Cal’s lightsaber to your collection at Galaxy’s Edge soon. You can read the official description down below.

“Following a challenge on the Disney Parks Blog, the Jedi weapon of Cal Kestis — Padawan survivor of Order 66 and starring hero of 2019’s critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game — will make its way to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge later next year. Cal’s will be the first lightsaber offered at Dok’s to have originated from a video game, and joins other iconic legacy lightsabers including Luke Skywalker, Rey, Darth Vader, and more, in the collection.”

This isn’t the only lightsaber to join the inventory in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. You can also pick up Ashoka’s blade and hilt and Count Dooku’s Sith weapon.

It’s always great to see video game characters receive official confirmation from the big boys at Disney. This means that even more people can enjoy Cal Kestis’ journey in their own lives.

If you haven’t played Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order yet, it’s worth giving it a go. It’s currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

It’s one of the better Star Wars stories in recent years. If you’re a fan of light souls-borne gameplay with Metroidvania elements, you’re in for a real treat.

Of course, with the current state of the world, we’re unsure when it will be safe actually to go and get one of these lightsabers for yourself. Be safe and be smart. May the force be with you.
