At the tail end of the Nintendo Direct this morning we finally saw more footage from the highly anticipated sequel to Breath of The wild. Breath of The Wild 2, while not releasing this year, was given some new footage for fans to latch onto for the foreseeable future.
Breath of The Wild 2 Receives New Trailer & Release Year
After it’s initial announcement back in 2019, we finally got to see some gameplay. Also, we now know that the structure of the map will have players soaring high above the skies of Hyrule field. We saw glimpses of floating islands and LInk hot dropping from the sky like a Fortnite character.
You can check out the full trailer below, and we would love to hear your thoughts on what you think this game will look like. We see at the beginning of the trailer Zelda fall down into a dark chasm, but we’re still keeping our fingers crossed that she is somehow playable.
Link’s arm also seems to be infused with some sort of Malice or Shiekah energy, which gives him powers like phasing through rocks. We’re interested to see what other powers Link obtains throughout his adventure in this game.
Breath of the Wild has the year 2022, but outside of that, we know nothing more about it.
