Update: Since we posted this story, 2K Games has been in touch to let us know that the information we were orginally supplied with was incorrect. The disc release will only collect the first two episodes of Borderlands DLC: The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned and Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx will not be included. We’re very sorry to have misinformed you.

Original story: 2K Games has told Eurogamer that all of Borderlands’ downloadable content to date will be compiled on a disc which will hit shops in the UK on 9th April. The disc will be released for Xbox 360 and PC, with a PS3 version unconfirmed at present.

The publisher wasn’t able to tell us the price of the boxed release, but confirmed that it would include The Zombie Island of Doctor Ned (8/10), Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot (8/10) and last week’s The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, which we’ve just published a 9/10 review for.

“The truth is, when it comes to DLC, nobody is doing this stuff as well as Gearbox’s team at the moment,” we wrote of the latest update to the mad hybrid of RPG and first-person shooter.

We’ll have more info on the DLC compilation disc as and when it becomes available.
