We’ve been learning a lot about Gearbox’s Borderlands 3 over the past several months, including heaps of gameplay, more on the new faces we’ll meet, and even how Ice-T became a teddy bear. Now the latest video shows off what fans can expect with the Borderlands 3 endgame set up thanks to this year’s Gamescom celebration.

Just because the main story is done, doesn’t mean the Borderlands 3 experience is finito as well. Just like previous games in the franchise, there is tons to do including the return of the Circle of Slaughter mode that we were first introduced in Borderlands 1. The wave-based experience is for those that truly want to cause mayhem because enemies never sleep.

But what about other endgame activities? Gearbox also showed off a new activity as well seen in Proving Grounds, which are select areas where players can get their alien hunter on by deciphering cryptic messages in the hunt for sweet, sweet loot. We also had a close-up look at the new puzzle seen in Guardian Rank. For those that played Borderlands 2, this feels reminiscent to the Badass Rank puzzle which essentially tasks players with a list of challenges to take on in an effort to scale up those skills.

Borderlands 3 endgame and other glorious features are shaping up to be an incredible experience. Fans can see for themselves what’s new when Borderlands 3 arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Epic Games Store on PC on September 13th.
