Just in time for the holiday season, Gearbox Software and 2K Games have introduced the latest downloadable expansion for Borderlands 2, one where you’ll have to deal with a number of new dangers while helping your ally Marcus recover a stolen cache of guns.

In the new Headhunter chapter How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day, your Vault Hunter will team up with the unlikely hero as you take on new enemies and eventually come face-to-face with the nastiest snowmen this side of Pandora, the vile Abominable Mister Tinder Snowflake. Taking him down will earn you an extra snowman head for your Vault Hunter, just the thing you need to spread some Christmas cheer – while you’re killing enemies, of course.

In addition, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a bandit singing “Carol of the Bells,” an original song that provides a few good laughs when you’re not shooting at abominable snowmen. Because what’s wrong with a little holiday cheer, right?

How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day is available now for $2.99 on Steam, Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.
