Blizzard Offers Heartfelt Apology During BlizzCon, “Failed In Our Purpose”

After a crazy month of protests and Really Bad Moves from Blizzard, they faced the elephant in the room head-on.

Blizzard had a very big elephant in the room when it came to BlizzCon 2019. With active protests going on and a very negative backlash regarding the Hong Kong protests. Rather than sweep it under the rug, the Blizzard president took to the stage to offer a heartfelt apology owning up to the failure of the team and how they let down their community.

While the apology didn’t address ANY of the specific issues that lead up to the reason it was needed in the first place, it was a solid first step in the long road ahead.
