We thought that when Blizzard recently announced there wouldn’t be a BlizzCon event for this year, they’d go full force in attending other conferences.  Doesn’t look like that push will include E3, but good news for folks attending Gamescom.

The company has now confirmed that it also won’t be appearing next month at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.  In the wake of that news, Blizzard said it would appear at the Germany-based game show GamesCom in a couple of months.  Hopefully they will unveil its new StarCraft II expansion Heart of the Swarm as well as the upcoming MMO Project Titan.

While Blizzard won’t be there, the company’s partner, Activision, will be on hand with several of their own projects including the new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron and the recently announced Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
