Papo & Yo is coming the PlayStation Network on August 14th and will be priced at $14.99, or $11.99 for PlayStation plus members, Sony has revealed.

The game is a semi-autobiographical adventure that follows the journeys of a young boy and his giant pink monster friend. A running theme in the title looks at the relationship between the boy and his companion, who turns into an abusive flaming demon when he consumes frogs. The friendship seen in the game is a metaphor for game creator Vander Caballero’s relationship with his father.
