Battlefield Reveal Happening in June

It looks like we’re getting some sort of Battlefield reveal in June according to a new tweet from the official Battlefield Twitter account. The tweet keeps things brief, listing two words that rhyme with “soon” which include boom and June.

The idea of a June reveal for Battlefield makes sense given previous Battlefield reveals typically happen before or around E3 time. Even though E3 is online again this year, it should look a little more concise than the year prior where everyone tried to experiment with ways to hold E3-like events online.

It’ll be more of a traditional E3 – albeit online – than last year’s essentially. As for what we know about the next Battlefield game, a post from EA’s website back in April gives Battlefield fans an idea as to what they can expect.

First, the game is getting a Holiday 2021 release, and second that the “biggest Battlefield development team ever” is working on this year’s Battlefield game.

“We’re putting some things together for when we reveal the next generation of Battlefield, and we can’t wait to show that to you all… but for now, we have a couple of things we wanted to tell you about,” the post shared back in April explains.

“First, we’re really excited to have the biggest Battlefield development team ever working on our console and PC game for this Holiday season, and second… we have something very exciting to talk about on mobile!”

The post itself also lends credence to the idea that we’ll see a full Battlefield reveal in June as it also includes the word “soon” along with a winking emoji. Basically hint hint, nudge nudge, Battlefield reveal coming in June, stay tuned.

“Our friends at Criterion and DICE LA are working with us on our shared vision for the game, while the team in Gothenburg is taking technology in the game to the next level. Together, we are creating a jaw-dropping experience for you to enjoy later in 2021.

We’re in daily playtesting mode right now: polishing, balancing, and making the best possible Battlefield game we can. I can tell you it is a bold step. It has everything we love about Battlefield – and takes all of it to the next level. Epic scale. All-out military warfare.

Crazy, unexpected moments. Game-changing destruction. Massive battles, packed with more players and mayhem than ever before. All brought to life with the power of next-gen consoles and PCs.

Get ready for our reveal “soon™” 😉”

It’s wild to think that not only is June a month away, but that this year’s Battlefield reveal is fast approaching. We’re curious to see what the game will look like, and what the reception to it will be. Until June, all we can do is speculate. Speaking of which, we’re curious what your thoughts are on this year’s Battlefield game.

Are you looking forward to the game? Is there anything you’re hoping to see in this year’s game compared to the last Battlefield release? Let us know on our social media channels including Facebook and Twitter!
