EA has released details of it’s two upcoming first-person shooters-Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1943, both set to come to Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
Battlefield 1943 is to be a downloadable title, it will be brought to the Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network and of course will be available on the net to download for PC users.
The game is being developed by DICE, who are known for bringing Battlefield 1942 to our shelves.
The company’s upcoming offering is a period piece once again set in World War II, set to involve a multitude of weapons and vehicles. The game will take players to locations such as Iwo Jima, Guadalcanal and Wake Island.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the sequel to the highly-acclaimed first-person shooter released last year. It’s set to include more of the destructive scenery and ridiculous humor of the original that proved a hit with the fans. The action will be set in a variety of terrains including jungles, mountains and deserts. The well-revered multiplayer will be back and the game will feature a whole host of new weapons.
