Those of you who thought you wouldn’t be getting high-quality content with your purchase of Battlefield 3: Premium on PlayStation Network…your investment is about to pay off.
As if early access wasn’t enough of a benefit, we’ve learned that EA has officially launched its first of five map packs, Close Quarters, for the first-person shooter today. Though Premium members might find a bit of difficulty with the maps at first, EA has explained that downloading them again, without any sacrifice to additional space, will get them working with no problem.
These new maps bring a number of additional goodies to the world of Battlefield 3, including…
– 10 new Assignments
– 5 unique dog tags
– 10 new weapons to use on all Battlefield 3 maps including:
1. AUG Assault Rifle
2. SCAR Assault Rifle
3. ACW-R Carbine
4. MTAR-21 Carbine
5. M417 Sniper Rifle
6.. JNG-90 Sniper Rifle
7. L86LSW Machine Gun
8. LSAT Machine Gun
9. M5K Tactical Machine Pistol
10. SPAS-12 Shotgun
You can buy the map pack individually for $14.99 if you don’t have access to Premium. It’ll be available on Xbox Live and PC starting next week.
