This past weekend was a big one for Warner Bros. Interactive and its upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, as the game dominated New York Comic-Con with a bunch of new reveals.

First up, another assassin in the Origins universe was revealed – the shockingly effective Electrocutioner. A trailer was shown to certain attendees showing him in an arena-style face-off against the Dark Knight. Look for this trailer to be unveiled officially over the next few days.

Also, Batman: Arkham Origins will be released as a mobile game to go alongside its console releases. The game will be initially released for iOS devices, namely the high-end iPhone and iPad units, and should come out on Android platforms later. The game will feature Batman battling against a rogue’s gallery of villains, earning “in-game currency and rewards” along the way.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a showstopper if Troy Baker didn’t do his thing. The voice actor, who previously worked on Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, will lend his talents to the Joker this time around, and gave attendees a run for their money when he read excerpts from Alan Moore’s graphic Batman novel The Killing Joke – to surprising effect. You can catch that video snippet below.

Baker’s shown off on more than one occasion – just check out The Last of Us’ alternative ending for further proof of his skills.

Batman: Arkham Origins releases on October 25th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and Wii U.
